TeleFlex II NetCarrier is taking a next-generation approach to delivering voice and data services. Using a new and more efficient technology, NetCarrier can provide customers with enhanced utilization of the T1 circuit by dynamically allocating bandwidth between voice and data usage. Voice and data are now on the same line, so there's only one provider and one bill to deal with. Developed from our original Teleflex product, the premise to TeleFlex II is simple. A TeleFlex II customer is guaranteed a minimum of 256 Kbps on the data side, and up to 32 phone lines on the voice side. When less phone lines are in use, the corresponding bandwidth seamlessly flows over to the data side, resulting in faster Internet speeds of up to 1.5 Mbps. That's all there is to it! See chart How does TeleFlex II differ from what other providers offer? Almost all providers' solutions are built upon a traditional voice infrastructure. They offer a channelized T1, which is comprised of 24 channels of 64 Kbps each. Each of these channels must be allocated to either voice or data. If the company is not utilizing the optimal amount of voice or data, it's lost, and the company pays for the unused bandwidth. With TeleFlex II, there is no unused bandwidth. No matter what combination of phone line and Internet usage, a TeleFlex II customer is always getting 100% of the bandwidth they are paying for. The primary advantage of TeleFlex II is the maximized efficiency of the T1 circuit. It is perfect for both small and medium sized business, as it simplifies their telecommunications choices and eliminates the need for dealing with two separate providers and two separate bills. The ideal customer is a business that has between 9 and 32 voice lines with a need for bandwidth of at least 256 Kbps. The service is delivered using an Integrated Access Device (IAD) which serves as both the router and the traditional Telco customer premise equipment.
